QatarDebate (QD) Nationals

The QD Nationals is a debating tournament featuring the top 16 high school teams in Qatar. Starting from double octofinals, it showcases the best debaters from both leagues, competing for national recognition.

  • Triumphed in the Qatar Schools National Debating Championship on 8th May 2024 at the Awsaj Academy. Declared National Champions, after competiting against 15 top ranking teams in Qatar.




  • Emerged as the top team in the prelims and went on to beat my school's 2nd team in the Grand Final.



  • Debated on various impromptu and prepared motion topics ranging from society, marriage, politics, space, sports to equality. Debated on immigration in the Grand Final.
