Protea Pre-WSDC
The Protea Pre-WSDC is a prestigious 3 vs. 3 debating tournament in the World Schools Debating format, held in Johannesburg, South Africa. It brings together top debaters to compete, sharpen their skills, and prepare for the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC).
Secured the Runner-Up Trophy in the Novice category at the Protea Pre-WSDC, hosted by the South Africa Debate organization from July 23-25, 2023, via Zoom. The tournament featured 40 teams from around the world, with over 150 debaters tackling motions on social media, politics, education, art, and climate change.
In the novice category, achieved 4 victories and advanced to the Semi-Finals, ultimately securing 2nd place. The title of Novice Runners-Up at Protea Pre-WSDC 2023 was earned.
Ranked 19th overall best novice speaker in the competition.
